“Tova is terrific! She was one of the best presenters we have ever had in the 8 years we have done workshops. Her vivaciousness, engagement with the group, and her clear presentation absorbed all of us. The time flew by, and she received nearly all ‘5s’ on the evaluation forms from everyone for every aspect of her workshop. So well done!”

Dynamic & Charismatic

“Tova is like no other speaker. While her qualifications ensure a delivery packed with the latest expert knowledge, her personality puts her over the top. Tova is a dynamic charismatic PhD, which makes her a treasured speaker. I have a critical eye for knowledge & delivery, and Tova is a treasure amongst accomplished PhD’s because she is so damn likable! She talks to her audience like a neighbor, but her content is one found is a great research-based book. So, when you hire Dr. Rubin you basically get a professor quality workshop delivered as a Ted Talk you can’t wait to listen to again.”

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a proven tool, which allows you to honestly examine your past and current relationships, behavior and communication patterns, and life choices. The purpose of therapy is to work together with your therapist, through a caring and confidential relationship, to develop insight into your thoughts and feelings and to learn some of the tools necessary to live the most fulfilling life of your own choosing:

  • You may find yourself living a life in routines that were shaped by circumstances and relationships from your past.
  •  You may find yourself currently feeling stuck in relationships and/or jobs that do not feel meaningful or are limiting you.
  • You may be overwhelmed by too much negativity in your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs about yourself.
  • You may feel powerless to communicate effectively with your parents, children, partner, or work associates and can feel misunderstood, frustrated, and alone.

Though sometimes painful, the therapy process can help to remove barriers that have been interfering with living a meaningful and rich life.

Confidentiality: I am bound both ethically and legally to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. With few exceptions, you have the absolute right to confidentiality in your therapy.
